State of the Culture, a pivotal show on Revolt TV also distributed on YouTube and podcast platforms, dives into unfiltered conversations on pop culture, politics, and social justice with hosts Joe Budden, Remy Ma, Eboni K. Williams, and Jinx. The show is lauded for its raw and in-depth discussions, viewed through a hip-hop lens.
In my role, I was instrumental in developing the visual framework that gave "State of the Culture" its distinctive edge. From the very beginning, I crafted the show's logo, designed the comprehensive graphics package, and established a brand identity that resonated with the show’s dynamic and unapologetically candid nature.
My creative direction extended to producing promotional materials that hyped up the audience before each episode and kept the conversation going after. I designed the set, a space where ideas could flow freely and hosts could engage deeply with the show's themes. Week by week, I delivered fresh graphics, ensuring they stayed true to the latest cultural currents and dialogues shaping the program.
As State of the Culture expanded its reach and explored new topics, my role involved dynamically adapting the visual elements to match the show's growth. This constant evolution in design ensured that the program remained at the forefront of engaging and relevant cultural discussion within the entertainment sphere.
